The Valley Vintage Rugby Club was formed in November of 1978, so has actually played 30 seasons, although this November will be the 30th Anniversary. It is intended to celebrate with a short tour in the Spring of 2009 to California. The original idea was to end up at the IRB 7’s Tournament in San Diego, after a couple of club matches in the Southern California area. There is some thought to ending up at the Catalina Festival which is in the first week of May. These ideas will be solicited, and a decision made in the early part of this season, as it will be imperative to get the excellent air fares offered by Allegiant Airlines out of Bellingham.
